《爱的味道》是一档以美食“治愈”矛盾的家庭情感互动生活服务类节目。两位艺人化身“美食心愿官”，每期深入一组素人家庭，通过完成趣味连环任务，促成素人家庭最暖心的一顿“爱的味道”。心愿官通过对当事人故事及矛盾的挖掘，折射当代家庭普遍的情感问题，引发社会共鸣；通过一顿“爱的味道”，化解亲人间的误解和矛盾，升华情感，构建和谐家庭关系。
