Multi-disciplinary team MDT usually refers to a clinical treatment mode in which relatively fixed experts from more than two related disciplines form a working group to put forward diagnosis and treatment opinions for a certain organ or system disease through regular and targeted meetings, which is the organizational guarantee for the planned and reasonable application of existing treatment methods to treat diseases. The original MDT was mostly established in the process of formulating treatment strategies for tumor patients. MDT of a tumor usually includes tumor surgeons, tumor physicians, radiotherapists, pathologists, medical imaging diagnostics, tumor basic researchers, nurses and social workers. At present, MDT model is not only widely used in the field of tumor, but also has been deeply used in the treatment of benign diseases, such as neurology, dermatology, nephrology and other disciplines, even involving care treatment, women and children health care and other fields.
