Discovery频道的8集FBI罪案调查剧《炸弹追凶 Manhunt: Unabomber》（原名《宣言 Manifesto》）确定在美国时间8月1日首播，首播集为两小时集。《炸弹追凶》由Kevin Spacey和Dana Brunetti担任本剧的执行制片人，执笔了本剧试映集的Andrew Sodroski也负责制作本剧。该剧根据现实改篇，大学炸弹客Ted Kaczynski是位大学数学教授，拥有167的高智商，以炸弹犯罪引致3死23伤。 本剧主要讲述了FBI如何抓住那些声名狼藉的“优秀”罪犯，第一季将着眼于FBI探员Jim "Fitz" Fitzgerald（Sam Worthington饰），一个不习惯用老方法收集情报的专门语言学家。他用自己非传统的方法让藏匿了近20年的“大学炸弹客/隐形炸弹/Unabomber”被绳之以法，关键之处就在于他发现了“大学炸弹客”的真实身份可能隐藏在他的"宣言"中，而这个"宣言"也是Kaczynski众多阴谋之一。Paul Bettany饰演被称为“大学炸弹客”的Ted Kaczynski，而John Berchtold将饰演年轻时代的Ted Kaczynski。 Chris Noth饰演Don Ackerman，FBI旧金山湾区主管，亦是“大学炸弹客”调查特遣组的领导人。Jane Lynch饰演前美国司法部长Janet Reno，她是首位女性任职司法部长，有品格﹑决断的她是个真正的公仆；所有国内重大案件都会经过她手中，而“大学炸弹客”是为她生涯中最重大的案件。 Jeremy Bobb饰演Don Ackerman手下的Stan Cole，他固执地折磨幷怪罪Fitz，指责他幷没有仔细写 “大学炸弹客”的搜查证，可能造成Ted Kaczynski无罪释放。Lynn Collins饰演Natalie，是位本科语言学教授，正准备取得终身职位的她，对Fitz硬拉她进“大学炸弹客”案件而恼怒。Keisha Castle-Hughes将饰演Tabby，一个协助FBI特别探员Fitz的街头探员。她毫无经验，但正在研习心理学，所以把她安排在行为分析小组，他将协助Fitz完成对“大学炸弹客”的追踪。 Mark Duplass饰演David Kaczynski，大学炸弹客Ted的弟弟﹑Lynn Collins饰演Natalie，斯坦福大学语言学的博士后。Katja Herbers饰演David Kaczynski的妻子Linda﹑Brían F.
