NBC宣布续订「One Chicago」的《芝加哥烈焰 Chicago Fire》（第8季）﹑《芝加哥警署 Chicago P.D.》（第7季）及《芝加哥急救 Chicago Med》（第5季）。这三部剧不靠前导下依然保持着不错的收视，续订理据毋庸置疑。
本剧翻拍自2004年同名韩剧。
