此次回巢TVB后担任无线制作部总监的刘家豪正着手明年开拍的《溏心风暴3》。至于剧集背景，前两辑分别以海味铺和饼铺为主题，《溏心3》会更加贴地，以茶餐厅为背景，故事由夏雨开茶餐厅暴发开始。
