《爱传万家说出你的故事》是一档访谈节目，节目每期邀请明星或草根达人来做客，畅谈他们的生活与工作，尤其是改版后，为了突出温暖与关怀的定位，节目加大了草根人物的比例，经常邀请重大新闻事件的当事人做客，并着重对一些社会民生类、话题类进行主题性的专题策划，使节目更贴近社会热点的同时，也让大家的关注目光越来越多地放在了草根身上。
