十年前，卓健凉老师在一次西北探险中被盗墓贼杀害。为了完成老师遗愿，卓健凉和老毕开始了麒麟城的寻宝之旅。在麒麟城里，故事在二人同当地村民马沙宁和刚刚出狱的五魁以及只为钱财而来的一群恶徒中展开。麒麟城里黄沙漫天、怪兽横行，他们能否收获宝藏？人性、道德、钱财、爱情的纠葛将何去何从？
