据悉，《境界线上的地平线》的BDBOX除了收录第1季，第2基本的全26话电视动画外，还将收录已经发售的BD初回限定版的特典。此外，新收录特典有川上稔新写的小说和特典乐曲、特制小册子（52P）、角色设定藤井智之新绘的包装以及完全新作特典动画。这是时隔6年《境界线上的地平线》才推出的新作动画，算是比较有吸引力的特典。
