《居家男人》是一部前卫的动作剧，讲述的是一个在国家调查局特别小组工作的中产阶级男人的故事。当他试图保护国家免受恐怖分子的袭击时，他还必须保护他的家人免受他那秘密的、高压力的、低报酬的工作的影响。
该剧改编自网漫，讲述变身成人类的猫咪和它的主人之间的半真实半虚伪的同居生活爱情故事。故事开始于“在我身边守护着我、一心一意只看着我的猫咪，某一天突然变成了人类男人”这一设定。
