《家有父母》是河北卫视专门为老年朋友量身打造的一档集服务性、娱乐性为一体的中老年益智类娱乐节目。节目实行周赛制，不设任何门槛，所有积极乐观、愿意与人分享生活快乐的老年人都可报名参加，每场淘汰一名嘉宾，通过闯关来角逐周冠军，赢得万元大奖，并采取主持人和嘉宾现场互动的形式，把生活常识智力问答和新奇搞笑游戏贯穿始终，每期节目还会根据内容的不同，即兴穿插一些节目单元，如“大声才会赢”、“我是黄金眼”、“就是不服老”等。
