《后厨》讲述的是小沈阳、海清饰演的“五星级”粤菜大厨为了争夺饭店厨房的领导权，明着斗厨艺，暗里斗心劲的故事。海清饰演面临“失业危机”的剩女大厨徐冰，小沈阳则出演刚刚刑满释放急需工作的监狱厨师长。他们一个业务精良，待人苛刻；一个自由散漫，手艺非凡，为了大厨的位子斗得不可开交。两人明着斗专业，暗着斗心计，但在这个过程里慢慢产生了感情。
